About the Contest
Between now and Nov 27, 2010, submit the most qualifying
Christmas related links you can find on the Internet through
the H4H website and you can become this year’s H4H Links
for Fun Champion. There is no cost to participate in this
contest and anyone can enter. You must register an account
in order to submit your links and the prize will be given
to the winner at the Home 44444 the Holidays Event.
Where you can find links (suggestions):
You can use your favorite internet search engine and just
go to town. We suggest that you open a couple of browser windows
so that you can have the submission screen on one browser
window and your search results on another. This way you can
just copy/paste the information into the submission form.
At the time of writing this, a Google search of “Christmas
activities for kids” returned over 1 million results.
How to submit your links:
In order to submit your links, you need to register for
a contestant account. Your username will be your contestant
number. You can think log-in to submit your links. You will
also be able to see your current rank in the contest as well
as how many links you have submitted and how many links have
been approved.
To submit you link, click on the “Submit New Link”
button and complete the form. If the URL is already in the
database, it will tell you after you place the URL in the
text box. You will not be able to submit a URL that is already
within the database.
Qualifying Links
A qualifying link is an Internet URL that has been submitted
through the Home 44444 the Holidays website and has been approved
by the Home 44444 webmaster and committee. The URL must meet
the following guidelines:
1. Must be related to Christmas.
2. Must be a working URL.
3. The URL cannot already exist in our database.
4. Must fit into our existing categories.
5. Your URL cannot be a commercial link for products or services.
6. The page cannot contain pop-ups, Malware, Spyware, or any
other virus related objects.
If a URL is not approved, the committee will provide a note
as to why it was not approved.
All decisions made by the committee are final.
No URL's will be counted towards the contest after Midnight
on November 27, 2010.
